Most faults are fixed on site by a mobile engineer with parts on the van. Jobs that need a bench, a mast out or a full rebuild come to the Grimsby workshop, and a hire truck can cover you while yours is away.
To get the right engineer to you faster
- Truck manufacturer and model
- Serial number, usually on the data plate
- What the truck is doing, or refusing to do, and any warning lights or codes
- Whether it is safe and accessible where it stands
- Site postcode and a contact on site

- A truck that will not start, lift, steer or stop. Tell us the symptoms and we will send the right engineer with the likely parts.

Yes. We maintain over 750 customer fleets on all makes and models. If you have a mixed fleet, one call covers all of it.

No. A truck with a brake, steering, mast, chain or hydraulic fault should be taken out of use until it has been looked at. Using it risks the operator, the people around it and the load, and the employer's duty under PUWER.
It depends on the truck's age, hours, the fault and what it is worth after repair. We will tell you honestly which makes sense, and we sell new and used trucks if replacement is the answer.
