John Haynes and his five friends Lee, Jonny, Steve, Matthew and Jez set out on a 1,544-mile trip from Winterton to the Spanish resort of Benidorm, to fulfil a promise and raise funds for Lindsey Lodge Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of John's father, Rod Haynes.
The group rode Honda C90s, carrying everything from lightweight camping gear to spares and tool kits, through Holland, Belgium, France and Andorra, past Barcelona and Valencia, to Benidorm.
A cause close to home
